Students Serenade Residents at Local Senior Living Community

Carrington Academy Windermere students visited Towne Club Windermere for cookie decorating and a holiday sing-along

Students from Carrington Academy Windermere in Cumming recently paid a special visit to residents at a local senior living community. Students stopped by Towne Club Windermere to spread holiday cheer by performing carols, decorating cookies and handing out handmade holiday cards. Carrington Academy Windermere has an ongoing partnership with Towne Club Windermere, and students visit the senior living center for events throughout the year.

In addition to their visit with residents of Towne Club Windermere, students held a food drive and donated more than 100 items to the Cumming First United Church Annual Food Drive. Through these initiatives, students learned the importance of giving back to the community, especially during the holiday season.
