'Taste of Forsyth' 2016 Set For Saturday

The event will be at the Cumming Fairgrounds and run from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

CUMMING, GA -- One of the most popular annual events at the Cumming Fairgrounds will let hungry visitors get their feed on this Saturday.

Taste of Forsyth will feature samples from more than two dozen local restaurants, spanning the culinary range from pizza to ice cream to gyros to barbecue.

The event runs from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. at the fairgrounds and is free to the public. Samples from food booths typically run from $1-$4.

Once everyone is full, there will be plenty more to do at Taste of Forsyth.

For the kids, there will be three Easter egg hunts, divided by age groups. Children 3 and under will get to hunt their share of more than 25,000 eggs at 11:30 a.m., while kids 4-7 will go at 1 p.m. and ages 8-10 at 2:30 p.m.

Other attractions will include a Kids Zone with inflatables and rides, live music, a "Touch a Truck" event and a puppet show.

The event is presented by the City of Cumming.
