Two Arrests During Building Material Thefts Patrol

Two suspects in the theft of building materials were arrested Tuesday night after two detectives were patrolling the area regarding similar incidents, according to Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.

The detectives encountered three men loading roofing shingles into a rented box truck. When the detectives approached them, the suspects fled, according to an FCSO Facebook post.

Deputies and K-9 units set up a perimeter, and the van was identified approximately 30-45 minutes later.

Two of the occupants were positively identified as the suspects and arrested, according to the FCSO.
