CUMMING, Ga. — At their meeting on May 17, the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners presented a resolution commending Cole Rainey Brockman for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.

For his Eagle Scout project, Brockman installed an irrigation system in the Liberty Middle School greenhouse. This allowed for the school’s Agricultural Science teacher to more efficiently water vegetables served in the school lunchroom and local food shelters.

Brockman is a junior at West Forsyth High School and member of Troop 254 in the Northeast Georgia Council, Etowah District, of the Boy Scouts of America.
