Woman Smuggled $700 in Meth Into Forsyth Jail, Authorities Say
According to an indictment handed down this week, Kimberly Doris Ramey hid 70 doses of meth "in her private area."

CUMMING, GA -- A Forsyth County woman has been indicted for attempting to smuggle $700 worth of methamphetamine into the new Forsyth County Jail.
Kimberly Doris Ramey, 24, faces one count of possession with intent to distribute and a count of crossing guard lines with a controlled substance, the Forsyth County News reports.
The indictment was returned this week by a grand jury over the October 2 incident.

A Forsyth County Sheriff's Office reports says Ramey was arrested during a traffic stop for possession of meth.
But during a post-booking investigation, a narcotics officer found an additional seven grams of meth "in her private area." That's the equivalent of 70 doses of meth, authorities said.

The drugs were not discovered until the day after she was booked into the jail.
Ramey was the second woman who has been caught smuggling drugs into the new jail.
Mallory Faith Starley, 29, of Gainesville, Ga., has been indicted on the same two counts stemming from a September 18 incident at the jail. Starley pleaded not guilty on March 2.
