Carrying the Torch at the Junior Olympics
Athletes compete during day one of the USA Track & Field Junior Olympics at Mill Creek High School on Thursday.
Thousands of athletes are expected to descend on Hoschton, specifically , for the Region 3 USA Track & Field Junior Olympics Championships over the next four days.
The four-day long meet will include events such as the heptathlon, pentathlon, hammer throw, steeplechase and a variety of more basic events such as shot put, discuss, relays, sprints and hurdles.
