Hawks Looking for Win Against Alpharetta

Mill Creek’s football season got off to a good start with . The Hawks hope to add another . The Raiders (1-0) defeated North Cobb 29-26 during their last outing. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.

Dacula (0-2) will have the week off to prepare for . The Broncos (0-1) lost to Lassiter last week and will face Collins Hill on Friday.

. The Bears (0-1) suffered a brutal loss to Central Gwinnett on Aug. 26. The Black Knights crushed Mountain View 54-14. Friday’s kickoff time is 7:30 p.m.

Hebron’s football season also got off to a rough start after a 41-0 blanking at the hands of Prince Avenue. The Lions will try to pick up the pieces this Friday at Southside Christian in S.C. The Sabres are 2-0 after wins against Dixie and St. Joseph.

VOLLEYBALL

The Lady Lions will be in action twice this week. Hebron (4-8) will travel to Loganville on Tuesday for a 5 p.m. match against the Lady Red Devils and Habersham Central. On Thursday, Hebron will host Dacula and Jefferson. The action begins at 5 p.m.

Dacula will start the week by . First serve is set for 5 p.m.

After Tuesday’s match, the Lady Hawks will be off until Sept. 6 when they host Greater Atlanta Christian and Norcross.

Mountain View’s only match this week takes place on Tuesday when the Lady Bears travel to Lanier High School. The match begins at 6 p.m.

CROSS COUNTRY

The Mill Creek and Dacula cross country teams will be in Rome, Ga. this weekend for the Berry Invitational. Mountain View will travel to Athens for the University of Georgia Invitational.

SOFTBALL
