Hebron Softball Player Steps Up As a Big Clutch Hitter

Amber Walker is a big hitter with a great attitude.

Senior Hebron softball player Amber Walker recently hit a solo home run against Dacula. Big hits like that one and a great attitude have won her recognition as Dacula Patch's female athlete of the week.

Hebron Christian Academy varsity softball coach LeAnn Mitchell said Walker is a hard working first baseman.

“Amber is a great kid and leader on our team,” Mitchell said. “She has really stepped up as a big clutch hitter since our first tournament.”

Walker’s outstanding plays on the field can be attributed to her determination in practice.

“She has a great attitude and doesn’t complain about working hard or working until I think she has something down as routine,” Mitchell said.
