Lady Hawks Play With Passion and Courage

Head Coach Parham talks about his team's focus for the season.

softball team head coach Roger Parham's coaching goals prove that he is not just focused on coaching the player, but believes in the girls as individuals as well.

“Our goal is to be the very best player, person, sister, daughter and team mate we can be each day,” Parham said. “Play the game with passion and courage and don't care about who gets the credit.”

The Mill Creek coaching staff is dedicated to seeing their players succeed both on and off the field.

“Our coaching staff is dedicated to seeing young people be successful and attain their goals,” he added.

When team members care and look out for each other, they often work better as a team, Parham explained. Teamwork is an important quality for success. If this softball team continues to work well together, it will be an exciting season.

“I am very excited about the upcoming year,” Parham said. “We have a great bunch of kids that work very hard and are all pulling in the same direction. They care deeply about each other and want to be successful.”

Coach Parham’s game strategy is short and sweet. He tells his players to “throw strikes and play solid defense.”
