
softball player Nikki Sagermann is hitting almost .500 for the year with nine home runs, 45 RBIs and 18 doubles. Coach Roger Parham praised her efforts.
“Nikki is a very hard worker with outstanding determination to be successful,” Parham said.
Sagermann plays third base and pitcher. Recently, she pitched a no-hitter in the first round of the playoffs against Parkview and also hit a solo home run.

“She is one of those special players that has the ability to raise her game when the team needs it the most,” Parham said.
Sagermann is an amazing individual player, but the overall success of the team is her most important goal.

“She makes everyone around her better,” Parham added. “She always gives credit to the team.”
Sagermann is a senior, and has committed to Kentucky to play her college career.
