Mill Creek Roughs Up Alpharetta, 42-7

Hawks execute on defense to put turnover-ridden Raiders way behind early in the game.

Six turnovers in the first half sealed the ' fate as they fell to the Mill Creek Hawks, 42-7, on Friday, Sept. 2 in Alpharetta.

The Raiders put on a good return game, but weren't able to make good use of the favorable field position.

The Hawks, however, made great use of the six turnovers in the first half, scoring often. Interceptions by the Mill Creek secondary stopped several promising drives by the Raiders, who had great field position on almost every kickoff. Alpharetta backs and receivers couldn't seem to hang on to the ball when they were heading downfield.
