1 Dead, 1 Injured In Decatur Shooting

The two people were in a car, when someone pulled up to their car and shot inside of it, police said.​

DECATUR, GA — A person died, and another person was seriously injured, in a Monday night shooting in the 2400 block of Wesley Chapel Road, DeKalb County Police said Tuesday.

Officers responded around 8:30 p.m. to the scene, where they found two people with gunshot wounds, police said.

The driver was able to flee the car and was taken to a local hospital in serious condition; however, police said the unidentified passenger died.

A motive and details of a shooting suspect are unknown.
