$10K Reward Offered In Decatur Woman's Shooting Death

The shooting appears to be drug related, and a man was injured in the shooting, police said.

DECATUR, GA — A $10,000 reward is being offered in the shooting death of a 25-year-old woman at Waldrop Place Friday, Fox 5 Atlanta reported late Monday night.

DeKalb County Police said Tuesday the woman and a man were in a car around 11:15 p.m. Friday, when someone approached the car and began shooting. Police said the shooting appears to be drug related.

The man and woman, both in their 20s, were taken to local hospitals. Police said the man was in stable condition.

The woman was identified by the family as Jamiyah Parker, Fox 5 Atlanta reported. A balloon release was held Sunday, and family members gathered Monday in the place where Parker died, the outlet reported.
