2 Injured In Shooting At Wesley Chapel Road

DECATUR, GA — Two men were shot near the Wesley Chapel Road QuikTrip Monday night, DeKalb County police said.

Officers responded to the scene around 9 p.m., when they saw a car had crashed into a dumpster near the roadway. Police said the driver, a 21-year-old man, was shot.

A second man, in his 20s, was found in the gas station parking lot with a gunshot wound, police said.

According to police, the first man's car was traveling southbound on Wesley Chapel when people in another car started shooting at his car, police said.

The two men were taken to the hospital in serious condition, police said.
