Higher Calling Christian Academy

Higher Calling Christian Academy (HCCA) is a faith-based learning community located in South DeKalb County dedicated to helping children grow academically, socially, emotionally, and creatively in a safe and nurturing environment. Our Summer Camp 2026 theme, “Choose Your Adventure: A Summer of Discovery at HCCA,” gives families the flexibility to enroll their child for the entire summer or select individual weeks based on their child’s interests. Throughout the summer, campers ages 5–12 will experience engaging, hands-on learning through themed weeks focused on gardening and sustainability, STEAM exploration, sports and teamwork, entrepreneurship, leadership, and creative discovery. Campers will participate in exciting activities including outdoor exploration, science experiments, engineering challenges, team games, creative arts, field trips, and youth business projects. A strong focus of our summer program is literacy and enrichment. Campers will participate in daily reading and enrichment activities designed to strengthen comprehension, creativity, communication, and critical thinking skills. As part of our literacy initiative, campers will visit the local public library twice each week to participate in summer reading opportunities, explore new books, and develop a love for reading and learning. What makes HCCA unique is our commitment to combining fun, enrichment, and purpose in a supportive Christian-centered environment. We strive to support the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of every child while encouraging creativity, confidence, leadership, and exploration. Families appreciate our flexible enrollment options, affordable pricing, extended hours from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., three meals provided daily, and CAPS acceptance. Visit your friends and neighbors at North Decatur UMC (1523 Church Street, at the corner of Church Street and North Decatur Road) to purchase your pumpkins starting October 12.The patch will be open 10:00 am to 7:00 pm every day until the pumpkins are sold out.All proceeds will support Stop Hunger Now, which means that for every pumpkin you buy, you will feed ten hungry children! In addition to buying your pumpkins to support a great cause, decorate your home, or even bake pumpkin treats (ask us about pumpkin recipes), you can also join us for special family-friendly activities, including story time and photos with Scarecrow Fred on Tuesdays October 14 and 21 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
