3 Killed, 2 Injured In I-285 Crash Near Decatur
One of the three people who was killed in the Tuesday night crash was a 1-month-old baby girl while another was a teen girl, police said.
DECATUR, GA — A man, a teenage girl and a baby girl died late Tuesday night in an interstate crash that injured two juveniles, DeKalb County Police said.
Police said officers responded around 11:45 p.m. to a crash on the Interstate 285 exit ramp onto Interstate 20 east. A tractor-trailer and a truck collided. Police did not fully detail the crash.
Three people were pronounced dead at the scene while a 10-year-old girl in critical condition and a 3-year-old girl in serious but stable condition were taken to local hospitals, police said.

The names of those who died have not been released, but police told Patch one of them was a 1-month-old baby girl. The other two people were a 41-year-old man and a 13-year-old girl.
DeKalb Police's Traffic Specialist Unit is investigating the crash.
