Benefiting the Decatur Educational Foundation and the Imani Twine Memorial Scholarship, the 4th Annual A Dancer’s Heart 5k is a family fun event where you can run, walk, or dance to support the youth of our community. A Dancer’s Heart, Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit that profits scholarships, leadership, and life skill programs to young women. The organization was launched in 2011 in memory of Imani Thompson Twine, a Decatur High School student who passed away in 2010 while attending the Georgia Governer’s Honors Program.
