This Friday, Zappos.com wants you to adopt a best friend from LifeLine Animal Project’s DeKalb County Animal Services shelter, and to thank you for adopting, they’ll pay your adoption fee! Join us for “Friends On Us Fridays” fee-waived adoptions on Friday, October 27th, at Lifeline at DeKalb County Animal Services. All adoptions include the pet’s spay/neuter, microchip and vaccinations at no cost!

Two of the dogs you can adopt on Friend on Us Friday are our Pets of the Week: Jane and Jimmi.

Jane is the type of gal who is up for anything! Want to snuggle on the couch? Jane will oblige! Feel like go hiking in the North Ga. mountains the next morning? Jane cannot wait! How about spending your Sunday afternoon out on the town? Jane will be right by your side while you explore Atlanta’s beltline, hang out on dog-friendly patios and talk to all the people who stop to pet her too! Jimmi can’t wait to impress you with his terrific personality and good looks! This three-year-old boy is smart, goofy and fun! He has quickly learned his basic commands and will eagerly perform all of his tricks on command! He also loves to play and will wow you with his tennis ball chasing and retrieving skills. However, when he senses you’ve had enough playtime, he will sit happily beside you or cuddle with you for as long as you like. Employees describe Jimmi as “regal,” and say he is the perfect combination of energetic and calm energy who will be an extremely loyal companion in his new home.
