Agnes Scott Leader Stories Presents Mountaineer and Women's Rights Activist Wasfia Nazreen
Lecture by alumna on women's rights in Bangladesh.
Agnes Scott 2006 alumna Wasfia Nazreen will give a lecture on her efforts to climb all Seven Summits in order to call attention to women’s progress in her native Bangladesh. She is known for her activism on women’s rights and has started a nonprofit in Bangladesh.
She will speak at Agnes Scott’s Campbell Hall on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at 7 p.m. The lecture is free and open to the public.
