Chase, Shooting Blocks 1 Right Lane In DeKalb

DECATUR, GA — Police activity has one right lane blocked Thursday morning on Interstate 20 west near Wesley Chapel Road, according to the 511 travel alert system.

DeKalb County Police told Patch officers are assisting another jurisdiction but could not detail the department's specific involvement.

11Alive reported a police chase and shooting ended on I-20 Thursday morning. Rockdale County authorities told the outlet there were no reported fatalities, and the suspect involved was being taken to the hospital.

Drivers are asked to use alternate routes to avoid delays, according to 511.
