Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. in Dekalb County Visit Georgia State Capitol to Conduct Alzheimer's Advocacy with the Alzheimer's Assoc
Lambda Epsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated members recently joined the Georgia chapter of the Alzheimer's Association and more than 300 other advocates for Alzheimer’s Awareness Day at the Georgia State Capitol. Advocates dressed in purple in support of the Alzheimer's Association’s mission to eliminate the disease through advancements in research and enhanced care. While at the Capitol, Lambda Epsilon Omega members and other supporters met with state senators and representatives to discuss the needs of individuals with Alzheimer's, or a related dementia, and their families.
