Anthony Bourdain Discovers Waffle House
The American chef and TV personality has finally discovered what Avondale Estates -- and the rest of America -- have known about all along.
American chef and TV personality Anthony Bourdain appeared on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert last week and revealed that he had only recently discovered the icon born in Avondale Estates in 1955: The Waffle House.
Bourdain was promoting the new season of his CNN show, “Parts Unknown,” according to Eater Atlanta.
“Talk about exotica, I’ve never been. It’s apparently a place you can go no matter how wrecked and obnoxious you are or how late at night,” Bourdain said.
