Arrest Warrant Issued for DeKalb Middle School Teacher

Police are looking for a DeKalb County teacher after a student’s mother discovered disturbing text messages on her son’s phone which seem to indicate the teacher allowed students to use a closet for sex.

WSB-TV reports that some of the text messages exchanged between the 14-year-old and Champion Theme Middle School teacher Quinton Wright included times during which the student could “use” the closet, Wright being unable to provide condoms to the student, and reminding the student that he needs to tell “the girl” to keep the incident a secret.

The student’s mother pulled the child from the school and notified school officials, who removed Wright from the classroom. A DeKalb County judge has since issued a warrant for Wright’s arrest, WSB-TV said.
