Boy, 6, Found Safe After Levi’s Call Issued In Atlanta

A six-year-old boy was found safe after his mother abducted him and told the father she had killed the boy. She was arrested.

DEKALB COUNTY, GA —A six-year-old boy was found unharmed and safe after the Georgia Bureau of Investigation issued a Levi’s Call, or Amber Alert, saying he was in serious danger, reported WSB-TV.

According to DeKalb County police, the child was taken by his mother Rochelle Riley. She drove Anthony to his father’s house on Monterey Drive, where she took him out of the car and assaulted him in the front yard “in view of the father,” before taking Anthony and driving away.

Police also said that she started sending text messages to the child’s father threatening to kill the boy and then later saying that she had already did.

Anthony was found safe between 3 and 4 a.m., officials said after a search that took hours. Riley was arrested, according to the GBI.

The charges she’s facing haven’t been shared yet. No other information has been shared.
