Boy Missing for 4 Years Found Behind False Wall: Georgia News

Father and four others charged with false imprisonment, cruelty to children, and obstruction, according to media reports.

A boy missing for four years was found behind a false wall at his father’s Clayton County home, according to The Associated Press. The boy’s father and four other people have been arrested in the case.

After receiving a tip on his possible location Saturday morning, investigators received a second tip after the boy was able to text his exact location to his mother, according to WSB-TV.

During an initial search late Friday night, officers couldn’t locate the boy, Clayton County police Sgt. Kevin Hughes told the media.

“While at the location during the second call, the victim was able to establish phone contact with his mother and she in turn passed on additional information to the officers on the scene,” Hughes told WSB-TV. “The victim was found behind a false wall within the residence.”

The boy’s father, Gregory Jean, 37, and his stepmother, Samantha Joy Davis, 42, and three more suspects were arrested, according to USA Today. All were charged with obstruction, false imprisonment and cruelty to children.
