Avondale Estates Christmas Tour of Homes & Holiday Market

Our 33rd Annual Christmas Tour of Homes will feature the newest home in Avondale completed just recently showcasing designs of stone, water and wood, with an interesting floor plan and interesting furnishings and art. Just down the street is a newly renovated ranch-style home built in 1959 that has been opened to create spacious rooms and a totally new kitchen. A traditional cottage built in 1964 was recently renovated with a new kitchen and an “outdoor living room.” A few doors down is another 1964-home that was totally rebuilt after a tree fell on it two years ago opening new spaces, adding beautiful wallpaper and creating new living space in the expansive basement. A two-story English Tudor built in 2017 features a fabulous open kitchen and a recently-added pool and outdoor pavilion. One of the Avondale Condos that was totally renovated last year is also on the tour complete with the owner/artist’s works displayed throughout her home.

The Avondale Holiday Market will be from noon-6:00 and will include most of the old favorites selling their scarves, pecans, jewelry, photography, bird feeders, smoked salmon, jams and ornaments.
