Decatur, GA (May 7, 2026) – The Decatur Rotary Club is now accepting
applications for 2026-27 Community Grants. This grant program aims to support local nonprofit organizations and community initiatives that align with the Rotary's mission of service above self.
Applications should be for projects or programs that address literacy and youth- at-risk in the wider Decatur / DeKalb community.
Grant Application Details
Applications for the Community Grants are being accepted now through May 29,
2026. Interested organizations are encouraged to review the eligibility
requirements and application guidelines available on the Decatur Rotary Club website at decaturrotaryga.org/, under the Decatur Rotary Grants tab.
Grants are offered in the amount of $1,000 or $2,000.
Key Dates:
● Application Deadline: May 29, 2026 @ midnight
● Grant Award Announcements: by June 5, 2026
● Awards Given: June 12, 2026
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for a grant, organizations must:
● Be a registered nonprofit organization.
● Serve Decatur / DeKalb County residents.
● Align with Rotary's mission and values.
● Demonstrate a clear need for funding and a well-defined project plan.
