CALL FOR NOMINATIONS: Georgia Youth Leadership Awards
21st Century Leaders is looking for the top 20 outstanding youth leaders from across the state of Georgia.
ATLANTA—Do you know a high school student who has demonstrated outstanding leadership skills by starting their own business, charity, initiative? Or have they given back to the community an extraordinary way? 21st Century Leaders (21CL), a business-led initiative and non-profit that provides youth leadership and talent development programs for Georgia high school students, is pleased to announce the call for nominations for the 8th annual Georgia Youth Leadership Awards.
21st Century Leaders’ Georgia Youth Leaders Awards honors 20 outstanding youth leaders under the age of 20 throughout the state who have made a significant impact locally or globally. Candidates eligible for nomination must be a Georgia high school student, living in Georgia, who has demonstrated outstanding leadership skills.
The final 20 award winners are honored, in celebration with National Youth Leadership Month, at the Georgia Youth Leadership Awards on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta, Georgia. Each awardee will be presented with a $250 mini-grant and specially recognized by Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 40 Under 40 members.
Once nominations are in, a distinguished panel of professionals, volunteers, and 40 under 40 members will thoroughly review each candidate and select the top 20. The final awardees will be notified in January. Submission deadline is Friday, December 4, 2015. Nominations can be made online at www.21stcenturyleaders.org.
