Cannabis Products Store Opens In Decatur

DECATUR, GA. -- A new store selling CBD-based products has opened in Decatur. CBD American Shaman is located at 3845 N. Druid Hills Road, and sells products made from hemp oil, a product which is legal in all 50 states. The store sells a range of products for both people and pets that contain high amounts of cannabidiol (CBD).
According to the store's website, some of its products include lotions, ointments, and serums, to water-soluble oils.
Hemp oil, according to the store, is made from industrial hemp, a type of cannabis plant that is 100% organic and has no known side effects. The store said hemp oil has many therapeutic properties and is particularly effective for many illnesses and conditions like chronic pain, inflammation, arthritis, and stress. Earlier this week, Atlanta-based Coca-Cola was reported to be negotiating with Aurora Cannabis to develop and launch a beverage that contains CBD.
