Cat Rescued From Decatur Cooking Fire
All of the residents were able to escape the Tilson Circle fire, according to the DeKalb County fire department.
DECATUR, GA — DeKalb County firefighters rescued a cat from a Tilson Circle home fire that was started by cooking Wednesday, the DeKalb County Fire Rescue Department said.
The fire happened around 10:45 a.m. When crews arrived at the scene, they saw heavy smoke coming from the home's roof.
All of the residents were able to escape the fire while firefighters rescued a cat, fire officials said. The fire department posted on Facebook photos showing first responders rendering aid to the cat.

There were no injuries in the fire.
