DECATUR, GA — A 4-year-old girl was critically injured and a 28-year-old woman was seriously injured after being hit by a car Sunday in the 2500 block of Candler Road, DeKalb County Police said.
Officers responded to the scene at 5:45 p.m. Both the girl and woman were taken to local hospitals for treatment, police said. The driver of the car remained at the scene.
DeKalb Police's Traffic Specialist Unit is investigating the cause of the crash.
