Christmas Came Early to LifeLine Animal Project!

Christmas came early for employees of LifeLine Animal Project, the managing organization for DeKalb County Animal Services (DCAS) and Fulton County Animal Services (FCAS). Over the Black Friday/Cyber Monday weekend, 334 homeless pets found their forever families! Adoptions included 230 dogs and 107 cats and were generously sponsored by Zappos.com and North Shore Animal League. We are so thankful to everyone who heeded our message to "Adopt don't shop," and gave a shelter animal a loving home!

We also received some exciting news from Atlanta-based Anisa International! Thanks to Anisa December donations to LifeLine will help us save twice the lives! For the sixth consecutive year, Anisa will match every dollar donated – up to $50,000 – through December 31, 2017.

LifeLine’s DeKalb County Animal Services Pet of the Week: Precious

What can we say about a girl who name describes her perfectly? Meet Precious, a polite senior lady whose heart is full of love! Precious enjoys most everything, but some of her favorite activities include taking slow walks, being bathed and hanging out outside. However the thing she enjoys most is being showered with attention! This sweetie is also terrific with all other dogs, so if you already have one, she’d make an excellent sister!
