Clark Atlanta Quarterback Arrested After Police Chase In DeKalb County: Reports
Clark Atlanta quarterback Elijah Odom faces multiple charges from a police chase and hit-and-run in DeKalb County, according to reports.
DEKALB COUNTY, GA — A Clark Atlanta University quarterback faces multiple charges from a hit-and-run Sunday in DeKalb County, reported WSB-TV.
Elijah Odom, 23, is accused of leading troopers on a chase after an accident near Candler Road. Georgia State Patrol said DeKalb police requested its help to clear out a large group of cars gathering outside a convenience store, reported WSB. They tried to stop a car that had illegally tinted windows, but the driver wouldn’t stop.
Odom took them on a chase and hit another car in the process, according to the news station.

Officials said Odom had videos on his Instagram account of him performing burnouts and doughnuts on Candler Road on the day of his arrest, reported WAGA-TV.
Once troopers were able to stop the car, they took two people into custody, reported WAGA-TV.

Odom is being charged with the following: felony fleeing, reckless driving, speeding, hit and run, failure to maintain lanes, passing the shoulder of the road, stop sign, red lights, possession of marijuana, and window tint.
