Cocaine: Over $3 Million Worth Seized By DeKalb Police

DeKalb's drug-prohibition enforcement unit and K9 unit discovered this week 32 kilograms of cocaine, worth $3.5 million.

DEKALB COUNTY, GA — Police seized more than $3 million worth of cocaine in DeKalb this week. The county’s drug-prohibition enforcement unit and DeKalb Police K9 teams discovered the narcotics in a dock near the area of Moreland Avenue and I-285.

On Monday, the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) unit and K9 teams discovered 20 kilograms of cocaine in one box and another 12 kilograms in a second package. DeKalb K9 Argo alerted to the odor of a controlled substance on a pallet of cardboard boxes.
