Students, Staff Safe At Columbia High After Brief Lockdown: DCSD

A report of a suspicious person in the area prompted the Wednesday morning lockdown at Columbia High.

DECATUR, GA — Columbia High School entered a brief lockdown Wednesday morning after a suspicious person was reported near the school, DeKalb County School officials said.

DeKalb School Police and DeKalb County Police thoroughly searched the area, and school officials said no one matching the initial description was found.

All students and staff are safe, school officials confirmed to Patch.
