Congressman Hosts Jobs Fair on Thursday
Film industry representatives will be among those at the employment "resource fair" hosted by Rep. Hank Johnson.
DECATUR, GA -- U.S. Rep. Hank Johnson is hosting a jobs “resource fair” on Thursday.
The 2016 Resource Fair will be held at Georgia Piedmont Technical College and bring together businesses that are hiring and government agencies devoted to helping Georgians find jobs.
“I’m committed to helping constituents who want to improve their lives and make the community a better place to live, work and play,” Johnson, a Democrat, said in a news release. “Holding this fair is a great way to help people connect with the resources and opportunities that are available to them.”

Information about finding jobs in Georgia’s blooming film-and-television industry will be featured at the event.
Other offerings include trainings for veterans, help for ex-offenders trying to overcome barriers to employment, resume development, pathways out of poverty, interviewing skills, job readiness workshops and small business forums.

The fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Georgia Piedmont Technical College is located at 494 North Indian Creek Dr. in Clarkston.
