CORE Performance Company hosts free Lunchtime in the Studio event November 13

Attendees will preview works created through CORE's Fieldwork program during the event

CORE Performance Company’s 15th annual Lunchtime in the Studio series continues at Decatur’s CORE Studios on Thursday, Nov. 13, from noon to 1 p.m. At the event, audience members will view excerpts of new works by Dennis Diamond, Nicole Kedaroe, and Louise Runyon developed through Fieldwork, CORE’s contemporary art and performance workshop series presented in partnership with Emory University’s Department of Theater and Dance and The Field (NYC).

Lunchtime in the Studio has been called “a close-up and personal look at how contemporary dance is crafted and performed” (AJC). Lunchtime in the Studio offers a free “backstage pass” for the public to actively engage in the innovation, collaboration, investigation, and community building that forms the heart of CORE’s vision. At the free event, guests are invited to enjoy their lunch in the welcoming environment of CORE Studios as they observe and respond to art-makers sharing their work.
