Cyclists Ask for Revisions to Commerce Drive Bike Lane Plans

The city commission has already approved their installation between Clairemont and West Trinity Place.

Decatur cyclists say recently approved plans for bike lanes along Commerce Drive between Clairemont Avenue and W. Trinity Place are flawed.

According to Decaturish, a petition is being circulated, urging city planners to revisit the issue.

The city commission approved the bike lanes earlier this month. It also approved an agreement with Trammell Crow Residential to develop the Alexan residential development on Commerce Drive.
