Decatur school officials have postponed the return plan for in-person learning.

DECATUR, GA β€” Decatur City Schools have postponed in-person learning until 2021. The schools have been closed since March due to the new coronavirus pandemic.

District officials revised the return plan Tuesday during a school board meeting, reported WSB.

The initial plan, according to the school website, was to begin phase 2 Oct. 12 by bringing back selected students in the adapted curriculum special education and early childhood program. By Nov. 2, Pre-K, Kindergarten, and grades third, sixth and ninth would have returned under the first plan. The other grades would have returned gradually.
