Decatur Easter Egg Hunt Set for Saturday

The hunt, sponsored by Decatur Business Association, will be on the lawn of First Baptist Church.

DECATUR, GA -- Decatur's annual Easter egg hunt will be held Saturday at First Baptist Church of Decatur.

The hunt will be on the front lawn of the church, at 308 Clairemont Ave., and begin at 11 a.m.

The rain location for the egg hunt will be in the church's gymnasium.

This year, hunts will be staggered according to age groups.

And there will be more than just an egg hunt, the city announced in a blog post.

There will be a visit from the Easter Bunny, free face painting, story time with Little Shop of Stories, and craft time sponsored by Treehouse Kids & Crafts.

There will also be an interactive photo booth with plenty of props, organizers promise.

The event is sponsored by the Decatur Business Association in partnership with First Baptist Church of Decatur.
