Decatur Falls To Westminster 35-7

Bulldogs (4-6) score late in fourth quarter in season-ending loss.

Decatur’s football season ended Friday night when the Bulldogs lost 35-7 to Westminster.

The home-standing Wildcats scored with about two-and-a-half minutes into the game and dominated the contest.

Decatur avoided a shutout when freshman Elijah Rachell scored on a short run with 1:38 left in the game. Jason Barefoot kicked the PAT.

A few plays earlier, Vito Antinozzi threw a 37-yard pass to Terryon Robinson to set up the touchdown.

For Westminster, Danny Catan scored twice.

Decatur finished the season 4-6. The Wildcats (6-4) next play Callaway in the first round of the state playoffs.
