Decatur High School Evacuated Briefly Over Fire
The fire started in a school bathroom, the school superintendent said.

DECATUR, GA -- Decatur High School was evacuated briefly Wednesday morning due to a fire.
City Schools of Decatur Superintendent David Dude said in a Facebook post at about 11 a.m. that a small fire was reported in a school bathroom.
"Fire department personnel responded promptly and the fire was quickly put out," Dude said in the post.

Decatur Fire Chief Toni Washington said units were dispatched to the fire at 10:31 a.m. and had it under control by 10:45 a.m.
She said the cause of the fire remained under investigation Wednesday afternoon.

Students and staff returned to the building after being evacuated for about 20 minutes.
