Decatur Hit-And-Run Injures Juvenile: Police

DECATUR — A juvenile inside of a crosswalk was injured in a hit-and-run around 8:45 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Commerce Drive and West Howard Avenue, Decatur Police said.

A red Toyota was traveling west on West Howard and failed to stop at a red light, hitting the juvenile, police said. The Toyota continued heading west, driving away from the scene, police said.

The juvenile, whose age was not released, was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life threatening, police said.
