Decatur To Hold Open Budget Work Session

Citizens are welcome at the session, which will be to discuss needs in the budget for fiscal year 2016-17.

DECATUR, GA -- Decatur's city commission is inviting the public to come listen in as they decide on the city's spending priorities for the coming year.

Decatur City Commission will hold a work session next Thursday, June 2, "to discuss challenges and opportunities" in the city's budget for fiscal year 2016-17.

They also will be discussion tweaks to a revised 2015-16 budget.

The work session, which is open to the public, will be from 3-6 p.m. It will be held in the City Commission Meeting Room at Decatur City Hall, 509 N. McDonough Street.

The work session also will be available for viewing online at https://www.decaturga.com/city-government/city-commission/streaming-video.
