Decatur Man Arrested After Two Police Chases
The 34-year-old was able to elude the first set of troopers pursuing him in Suwanee, but was eventually run off the road in DeKalb County.

A Decatur man is behind bars after he led state troopers on a series of pursuits in Gwinnett and DeKalb counties on Monday morning.
According to WSB-TV, 34-year-old Johnny Terry was initially chased by state troopers in the Suwanee area at approximately 7:30 a.m. Terry was able to shake the troopers during the initial chase.

An hour later, law enforcement picked up Terry’s trail on I-285 in DeKalb County and went after him again. This time, troopers ran Terry off the road after he took the Bouldercrest Road exit and stopped the pursuit. WSB-TV talked to a witness who said that troopers pulled the driver from the car and placed him in handcuffs after the crash.
Terry was taken to the DeKalb County jail. Jail records show that Terry has been charged with reckless driving, exceeding maximum speed limits, and attempting to elude police. WSB-TV reports Terry is wanted in multiple counties.
