Decatur Named As Defendant in Dearborn Park Lawsuit
The battle is over the city's plans to expand the park.

DECATUR GA -- The city has been named as a defendant in a lawsuit over its plans to expand Dearborn Park.
Back in December, Decatur’s city commission approved buying four acres of land near the park to expand it, reports Decaturish. But now city leaders have been told that Redwater LLC, the company that has the property under contract, has filed a lawsuit against Decatur and the property’s owner, Mattie Robinson.
The company claims Robinson concealed prior Redwater contracts regarding the property. Decatur is named as a defendant in the lawsuit, but there are no allegations of wrongdoing.
