Decatur Parks Seeks Public's Help Co-Creating New Master Plan

DECATUR, GA — Decatur’s new Parks and Recreation Master Plan is seeking public input. Residents can share their thoughts and feedback on May 11.

“Recreatur” is a citywide effort to create a vision for Decatur’s parks and recreation system over the next 10 years, according to the website. On Wednesday, May 11 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. people are invited to the Ebster Recreation Center Gym, 105 Electric Ave. to help co-create the Decatur Parks and Recreation Master Plan.

Collaborative public input is a critical component of the plan, according to officials. Some of the questions include:
