Decatur Pastor Launches Music CD and Raises Money for Global Cause
Rev. Theophilus J. Stanford and Word of Life Launch Debut CD in Concert and Raise Money to Support Imagine No Malaria!
After over 20 years of singing together, local Decatur pastor Rev. Dr. Theophilus J. Stanford, founder and director of Word of Life, a community gospel choir, will be debuting a new gospel CD entitled ”NOT YOUR BATTLE” on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at 5p.m. The concert will be held at the Glen Haven UMC located at 4862 Glenwood Road in Decatur. The concert is also a fundraiser in support of Imagine No Malaria, an effort by the United Methodist Church to eradicate Malaria, one of the deadliest but preventable diseases that disproportionately effects the world’s poorest communities.
