Decatur Police Arrest Man Who Reportedly Exposed Himself To Girl
Police said the man was pleasuring himself in the open in front of a girl whose father flagged down a police officer before the man escaped.

DECATUR, GA — Decatur police have arrested a man who police said exposed himself in the presence of a 14-year-old girl at Decatur Square Plaza earlier this month.
Police released a photo of the man on Monday in relation to the incident, which occurred at 5:44 p.m. on July 6, police said. The 14-year-old reportedly saw the man pleasuring himself “out in the open” and alerted her father to the man, CBS 46 reported. When the girl’s father told a police officer of what his daughter had seen, the man was able to leave and get onto a nearby Marta train before police could question him, the station reported, citing a police report.
A Decatur Police spokeswoman said Wednesday that the man in the photo was identified and arrested on Tuesday. Police have not yet named the suspect.
