Decatur's Veggie Pinewood Derby Rolls Wednesday Afternoon
It's like the classic Boy Scout race ... but with vegetables.

DECATUR, GA -- Ever wonder whether a carrot is faster than a cucumber? Wednesday afternoon is your chance to find out.
The Decatur Famers Market is sponsoring its first-ever Veggie Pinewood Derby, from 3-6 p.m. on the front lawn of Decatur First Baptist Church.
Contestants ”will transform humble vegetables into fast and fabulous race cars,” according to a news release -- competing for prizes from popsicle rock stars King of Pops.
